Guimmia Villa's complaints about her estranged husband, who harassed the Dominican beauty for weeks before executing her in the Astoria, Queens, pharmacy where she worked.
Villa reported a Jan. 15 assault at Crescent Chemists by ex-con Alex Figueroa, 38, who threatened to kill her, to police in Flushing, where she lived.
Those domestic-violence cops didn't tell the 114th Precinct in Astoria for four days. A week later, a 114th detective talked to Villa. Two weeks more passed before Figueroa was flagged as being wanted for questioning, sources said.

"They didn't do anything," Yajaira said of the police. "They knew where he lived. They were telling her that they were looking for [Figueroa]."
Figueroa, who later committed suicide, was caught on surveillance video talking to Villa in the store on Feb. 10 until they were alone. Then he grabbed her hair and shot her through the back, bullets hitting the glass storefront.
Villa, a mother of two and survivor of two kidney transplants in 10 years, crumpled to the floor. Figueroa shot her again in the head before strolling out -- the cracked glass shattering as he slammed the pharmacy door.
In a rambling suicide note, Figueroa claimed Villa had an affair, and said her blood was on the hands of a judge and two social workers, although it's unclear what he meant.
"No one is helping me. I want any money that comes from my story in a book or movie to come to my kids," he wrote.
The NYPD has declined to comment on the timeline of the case.
Yajaira, who plans to adopt her sister's young sons, says the boys keep crying for their mother, who will be memorialized at Rivera Funeral Home in Corona this week.
"The system failed," she said.
