3 busted in mask scam

Three Hong Kong airport workers have been busted for trying to help smuggle a young Chinese immigrant out
of the country by using a silicone mask to disguise him as a craggy-faced grandpa.
Photos of the illegal immigrant's shocking transformation -- from baby-faced Asian man to elderly, bespectacled Caucasian -- grabbed international headlines when he was busted in October.
The suspects charged about $45,000 to smuggle immigrants into Canada illegally from April to October last year.
One of those busted was a worker at the Hong Kong airport who allegedly helped get the unidentified man aboard the Air Canada flight to Vancouver with false papers Oct. 29.
